as one of the orig cherrylane customers(1969) i first came to the cherrylane in 1969 ,i was 8 years old.i remember when ray and loyd owned it,what great times i had as a child.we became freinds outside of the motel.are there any adults who went to the cherrylane in the late 1960s and early 1970s,id love to here from them.. please e-mail me at mustangflaguy@yahoo.com

i know the e-mail address is pretty funny, but its real. i first stayed in the cherrylane in 1969, i was 8 years old. does anyone remember ray and loyd, the orig owners. ray made my family feel like we were part of his family, ill always remember him, i wonder if any orig cherrylane folks remember ray, and his family. anyone remember loyds kids, i used to play with them sometimes, loyd has 2 sons, and 1 daughter. i see that one or two people have bad things to say about the cherrylane. i stopped staying there around 1987 or so. ive visited it afew times as resent as 2004. and yes, since new owners have taken over, its been sold for some time now, its not even close to being the same. i still walk around the grounds though, when im in lancaster, and my thoughts always turn to those late 1960s and 1970s, which were the best times of my life, watching ray walk around, with a hammer and tool belt. i miss those days so much, i know ray has since passed away, and his wife, and the cherrylane has changed ownership, but i still think about those days, and i know i always will. id love to hear from and orig cherrylane people out there, e-mail me at cherrylane68@hotmail.com... lets exchange storys .... rich |

My husband & i stayed 2 nights at your Inn in July 2006 & we are planning to return on July 24th & 25th please send us your rates. We had such a wonderful time, right in the heart of the Amish country & down the road we got the sweetest watermelon & cantalope at a local Amish home. The Inn is so well kept & clean & we truly enjoyed your pool in the 90 degree heat.Any one who reads this should definately make a point to stay at this Inn.
